Vegan seed porridge
/This is without a doubt one of my favourite breakfast options.
Ingredients:
2 tblspns almond meal
2 tblspns hemp seeds
2 tbslspns chia seeds
2 tblspns flaxseeds
1 ½ cups of almond milk
½ tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
½ tsp vanilla essence(optional)
Coconut flakes (optional)
Method:
Crush the seeds and add to the almond meal. Add the almond milk and stir over heat in a saucepan until the mixture starts to boil and thicken a little. Add more almond milk if needed.
Add berries or crunchy granola.
I like to add Pink Muesli on top which has dried beetroot in it.
I also like to add dried blackcurrant powder on top too, for extra colour and gut-healthy polyphenols.
