Why I blog

Why do I have a blog?

The answer is simple. To empower you to make healthy choices that can have an enormous impact on your health and wellbeing.

I tell my patients about the 3 M’s: mouth, muscle and mind.

What you eat, how you move your body and how you deal with stress and sleep can make a big difference to your health.

My advice is evidenced-based and comes from years of clinical experience. I base my information on courses, conferences and educational events I attend to give useful and up-to-date information that can be incorporated into your day-to-day life.

I believe there is always something you can do when you are diagnosed with a medical illness. Always. We have access to life changing drugs and surgery but there is much we can do ourselves.

Small, daily changes can make a big difference. I have seen it in my own life and in the lives of my patients.

Have you done something that has made a difference to your health?
